Ive downloaded the bin file from this site and loaded it up via the built in interface but im not getting the same amount of channels I used to get with my original starview box (the box). Has something changed in the last couple of days? I am getting PPV and normal FTA channels but nowt else??

Reading on other forums, I think the Narga 3 Encryption has been rolled out in my area (Watford).

hi guys am new to this forum just want to share my experienced as of today just bought a new starview 5 the box usb II and uploaded the latest firmware and try to do scan but unfortunately all i get is 10 channels. try to do factory default but still get same channels. so what i did is i've uploaded the V2.03 and try to re scan again and now i've got 257 channels found. what i'm trying to say here is if u bought a new starview 5 don't install the latest firmware. by the way before i uploaded the firmware i did check the firmware on the box first and found the firmware installed is v 2.04. hope this help guys .

I started losing my channels on my SV5 USB II recently. Tried factory reset, key turned on etc but an automatic scan didn't fix this problem.

I then flashed it with the latest firmware which was TheboxSuperUSB2_v2.05.091023

An automatic scan only found less than 10 channels.

I then tried what rezha said and it actually worked. I flashed the SV5 with the firmware TheboxSuperUSB2_v2.03.20090923 and after an automatic scan found all the channels including premiums.

Forgot to say, I'm in Birmingham and the firmware TheboxSuperUSB2_v2.03.20090923 seems to working fine.
