the new starview hd lan 6900 series is up and running on c/s and all hd channels are working nicely.....unlike starview combo hd..only 90% working.

sandalou, can you explain in technical terms what 90% means. can you explain the difference and why the difference between both products. can you explain why one box will only ever be able to deliver 90% of the functionality of the other box. i simply don't understand your post

it may be extended!
the boxes may not last 12 months!

of course, thats the simplest of tasks as the server. let me explain how it works. ur name is on a public server where u are allowed access to channels. after 12 months it is not that the starview is useless it is simply the fact that the public share turns off your subscription. very easy to do. just delete you from their list of subscribers

Not entirely sure what you mean mate, can you clarify.
The 6900 is a Satellite receiver. Are you talking about sat channels on both boxes when you say the 90% and 100% regards channels ???

he probably means 90% of the actuall cable tv channels are only coming in

p.s the starview hd glitch has been resolved..100% working now.

but thats posting rumours or hearsay........ if that were the case, we could post all sorts of bull, rumours or hearsay and its up to others to determine whats real or not?
