That will do fine, make sure co-axial is in right connection. Channels 1 to 5 should have a
picture BBC1,2,ITV1 etc. If not do auto-scan for channels.
the starview 4 works channels bbc1 2 3 4 itv 1 3+1 4+1 ive just been round to a friends house he has full package with virgin and it wudnt scan in any channels so i guess its the box

OK, you have 2 STVU7 boxes, 1 working[box1],& 1 not working[box2].
On box1--MENU-OPTIONS-NETWORK-IP SETUP; write down IP address,Subnet mask, gateway.
On box2--MENU-OPTIONS-NETWORK-IP SETUP; check if boxes have numbers or are empty.
On box2; manually enter values in Subnet mask & Gateway exactly same as values in box1.
ON box2; manually enter value in IP address, same as box1 except different last number.
EXAMPLE:
box1 IP address 192.168.1.15
box2 IP address 1p2.168.1.25
On box2; You can leave dns values empty. CLICK ON APPLY,then exit.
On box2; Look in IP setup to check if values are saved and if dns values have auto-filled in.
If box is still not connecting post back with details.
I wonder if supplier has neglected to enable a batch of STVU 7 boxes as have seen on several
forums that brand new STVU 7 boxes not connecting to internet.
