hello all,
i have a starview box and i did have problems and lost all channels. I managed to restore some of them by turning my emu back on, however i still cant get any movie channels or sports channels. can anybody help?

Carry out a factory reset, rescan your network turn EMU on. VM have been rolling out new codes so channels have been dissapering but this should solve it. Heads up new smartcards being rolled out in the coming weeks/months all boxes will be going down no fix now or near future enjoy while it lasts

sorry to but in pal but i have just got starview 4 and it wont let me turn emu on tried 0000 and 1570 just keeps asking for pin and confirm pin please could u help

Have u got correct firmware installed and when you scanned has it pick up all channels if so press menu so your on the 1st main menu screen then press 1 5 7 0 on the remote this brings up a second secret menu that allows you to turn Keycode on.

picking up all channels tried that wont have it what firmware should it have on it pal and where do i get it from thanks

If the box is new then you will need to flash it with the correct Firmware as stated above, but you do need to make sure that you have correctly identified your SV Model, you say it is Starview 4, then the Firmware you need is TheboxSuperUSB_V1.12.BIN and you will find it along with the Logo in Eamo's FTA Library link at the bottom of post. There are help files also in there so download them and read so that you know what and how to do the job okay, but make sure that you definately know the model of your box, and have a read of this thread. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Sorry I had to go away for awhile, at the present time there is no way forward with the cable boxes, no fix likely in the foreseeable future, so I would not purchase any cable box at the moment.
