Hi There, Ive had my Starview Box original one for about two years now, last year i lost all the channels however after doing the firmware update the channels returned, last week, Ive lost most of the Movie Channels, and Sky Sports, and Living Etc, I have done a factory reset, changed my provider from TW to EX CW to see if that corrected the problem and still nothing, The Box i have is the following

Boot Ver 8.0
Can anyone help me in getting the box back on or is it as i am reading on a few posts knackered for good, If so i am after the Playback and Live record version of the newer box could anyone point me in the right direction of what model and version i need
Firstly, that box is on it last legs due to new encryption, N3, check out the Nagra 3 thread for more info and what areas etc etc, the only box working with any reliability is the Kryptview A780, which doesnt have the record facilty, the other box is the SV6, which in my honest opinion is as useful as a handbrake on a canoe, unfortunatly thats all their is on the cable side, but the Kryptview is the one to put your money on, reliable and better supported by the manufacturer. There are threads on the Kryptview A780 on here, I suggest you read up on them to get a better idea of the box
