hi all am very new to all this ,but just bought a starview hd combo and seem to be having trouble installing any channels at all please what am i doing wrong

hav updated my combo hd box with gr updt and bootfile,using satelite dish to tune but almost every channel i have tuned in is locked any ideas or is CS my only way out of this prob. I am in Scotland not in a cable area so using sat + 20 mb BB.

no, this is useless in Ireland on any platform apart from sat,


@goggs - yes, you will only get FTA on this unless you look at the CS route, google is your best friend for that,

hi all

my friend just recently bought a starview hd combo plus, we were under the apparently false assumption that you just flashed the firmware and it would unscramble channels (using satellite fyi) like it did with my old cable box.

any tips on this, i see c/s may be the only way to get scrambled channels. any info on this, point us in the right direction, would hate to see the money wasted!
