Hi everybody, I have a Starv.2.2 working fine (Cork City), my friend gave me his one because he lost all his channels, i've tried to load with the firmware 4.57 loader etc. but nothing...i'm puzzled...how come one works and the other doesn't, its hooked to main input cable etc. emu is on, has anybody experienced the same, please advise, thanks.
Thanks for the reply, I've never done a box to box transfer before, that's pretty interesting that that could work, I'll search the forums for tut on how to do that. Thanks portbhoy, nice1 much appreciated.
Connect your working box (master) to your TV as normal and power on
Connect boxes together with the null modem cable power on slave box
On your working box (master) press Menu>user setup>press ok>scroll to bottom S/W transfer>scroll to code SW (image) or channel data (CDF) and press ok to start.
Do the Software first then the CDF dont power off box during transfer ;)
