Whats the diffrance between a b&q free to air box and a blank sky reciver?......

am new to this ive been wondering if a ross free to air box could be flashed via the rs232 coms port on the box to pick up sky sum how??

oh an a null modem cable does it have to have "handshake" or is it case of a trip to maplin an join 3 wires up ??

both are the same, you will only get FTA chans and no you wont pick up sky (unless its FTA chans from them) with the ross box
