Hi guys,

My friend has a router which only has a single port that is connected to a laptop, he is trying to connect SV7 to get internet connection - Is this possible to do as there is no spare port in the router.

He has tried a router switch but it still does not work. Is there a soultion to this probelm?

Thanks in advance

Your not having much luck with boxes Raj. Your friend needs to install a wireless router or
maybe he could connect wirelessly to nearby router using Open Media Wi-Fi dongle or similiar.
Friend's box will work thru his modem if set up correctly but they would lose B/B to PC while
SV/7 is in use

If you used Carling 1.04 firmware options are automatically set so if you have box connected
to router LAN & prov TV cable you should be all set. Sometimes you need to turn off box and
router, turn on router then turn on box
