hi all,i have a tm 500 and the problem is ,is that on a few programmes they are lip syncing .they are talking 2/3 seconds later.i was wondering is there any software out for this problem.if there is i would have to FTP across as my serial port won't work.the software on it is underground, jhaye2x

Not familiar with underground image, but have a look in menu usually under EXPERT SET-UP.
Disable FAST-ZAPPING, that should sort out your problem. If problem persists you could flash
box with newer technomate image. If flashing new image save any C-lines & install on new image
I would not reccomend you FTP new image. Best to use friend's PC with serial-port & flash image
using DARKMAN loader & null-modem cable. You could try downloading image direct to box from internet
ADD-ONS. IF it fails then use DARKMAN.

thanks for replying, EAMO_TO. i tried the EXPERT SET-UP.
Disable FAST-ZAPPING it did not work. want i want to do is go to my mates house and use his PC(serial port).if it is possible could you send me the link for the firmware+software for dream up as i have never used it before.if you can direct me on how to go through the procedure on the firmware+software. cheers jhaye2x

When you look in expert set-up if enable fast-zapping is un-ticked then it's disabled. With
some images when you exit settings a box will appear on screen SAVE CURRENT SETTINGS, this may
not appear on all images.

hi EAMO_TO no, it does not happen on the TM 500. other boxes it does but not this one. if i download dark man firmware,what is the image for the TM 500. jhaye2x

Read thru the thread that I pm'd you link for. Any advice you need should be in there. Either
install a patch on your image or install new image,choice is yours. Just make sure any patch
is for your U/ground image-500.

hi EAMO iam new on this but was hopping if you could help me as you have others my problem is i have a tm500 for about 8 weeks now and have done alot of reading on this box but there is no step by step giud now i have mannege to get the (TM control center) and the (Dream control center) and of cuz the (14U-R image) for the box now i know i need to flash the box then the network part i believe but to frank i do not no were to start on how to flash and then the rest please please could you help me and not to forget i also have my C-lines ready i will apriate it if you could help alote of members are directing me to you as you are good with this thanks in advance mate

Hi friend just got tm 600 and we were seting it up it can get the free view channels alright. He has a LAN line goin into back of it but it is coming up as no Internet contaction on it. We got the ip address of the box put it in the web bar and we could see the box and access it at the top of the screen it says no net contection any 1 can help me srry if I post this thred in wrong place

Sorry for not helping you Comboo, been out of action for 4 months. Will be around from now on if you need any help. Am a bit rusty on Techno as it's 6-9 months since I set one
up for anyone. Must actually get one for child's playroom as I was very impressed with them.I find them as good as Dreambox. There's plenty of info on them if you look 'round
Will PM you link for Technomate info.
