Hi my Starview box has suddnly went off, no power anymore, I have opened the unit and their is a very slight hissing from the board the power lead is connected to, but nothing from the other board. Nothing powers up when I switch it on only the slight hissing sound.

Please help :-(

you could try and fix the board or replace it alltogether if you were up to doing it or if you knew someone who could do it for you,but the cost of that might outway the value of the box in my opinion. i would go and get another the box new or even second hand,its less trouble and expense ,and a second hand box would cut down the loss if the box was knocked out(which if you live in ireland will be the case,if your in the uk you should be ok for now).they are very cheap now.
