I currently have a dm500s, and am now getting the itch to upgrade my hardware to a hd compatible box.
There seems to be some hype surrounding the bm7000s, and is reasonably priced.

My concerns lye with it not been a Linux based receiver, it could mean that 3rd party firmware may be limited.
Also, what is the epg like?
Now and next will be fine for my needs, but does that appear on screen while toggling tru channels?

Any info from users of this box would be great.

Thanks

Barry

picture quality is brill 1080p or 3d on the blade but epg is basically now and next at the moment and yes they are there as you scan through channels.i believe this will be updated soon to weekly epg,but there is an epg update button.works with cccam and newcamd for cslines and can be inputted via remote or usb stik or rs232.firmware updated via usb stik or rs232.sly channels bouquet can be updated monthly via internet.if you are keen on recording programs then this is not the box for you it only has 1 tuner and can only record on the tp you are watching.so if you want a great easy box this is the one especially if you are swapping from cable to sat no messing around with images, ftp and ccam progs, all in one firmware.i have no problem with it works fine for me.im not sure if it can act as a server for cs like the dm500 if you want to share your card if you have one lol.but picture quality puts the sly and vermin hd boxes to shame far better!! for cs it has to be connected to a router via ethernet cable as do all post n3 boxes sat or cable.

Thanks for the update on this.
Seems alot praising the picture quality, and that is probbly the most important thing.
Does anyone know if they plan to bring out a duel tuner version in the not to distant future? This is more of a desire, but would love to have it.
