hi there, i recently upgraded my broadband package with them, i hid my eurovox box from them just to avoid any uneccessary nonsense, but now it seems like i'm not getting any feed at all from my cable point.

even though i've lost all the channels through NAG4 i'm not too bothered but to lose the FTA channels aswell is a bit of a ball-ache! any ideas?

could i need to flash my eurovox again? (not sure what model it is, i've had it nearly four years).

cheers!

Dump the box out and buy a new box, chances is if your not receiving any FTA channels chances are they have disconnected your cable feed.

what i don't get is that i'd been watching (ahem) FTA channels for about four years without a sub... so what's the big change? the fact that i've had a broadband upgrade? doesn't make sense! HOW do they switch it off anyway? i am under the impression that they constantly feeding a signal to you if you have (or used to have) a cable connection...?

cheers.

unusual. all tv providers as a rule provide fta channels of some sort or another. the only reason could possibly happen is, as e45 says, your cable has been disconnected

is it easy enough to re-connect? seeing as though the connection is in my cellar! i had a splitter, sending coaxial upstairs to the computer and to the tv!

p.s. lost my bloody parallel port lead, do you think it's even worth flashing the latest firmware onto my eurovox MAX? does kryptview work off LAN?

cheers!
