Vermin Tivo Mod

Anyone tried to mod the Vermin Tivo box to get free Tivo.

You need a valid virgin sub and card to run the box but I hear the Tivo crack has been successful.

You need to remove the hard disk from the unit and re-image the drive with "modded" Tivo image. Bearing in mind each image is specific to area you need to be careful thats why a Tivo box bought off ebay should never be plugged in with the original hard disk inside.

Done the mod but the box keeps freezing randomly during use?

Am thinking of trying to mod the box with Mythbuntu and the help of LinuxTv - anyone tried it?

Any ideas or updates to the mod?

Is it just me fiddling about with the Tivo box or are there other Linux programmers out there?
