hi i just bought a vm box of internet for my boys room,when i plugged box in all i got on front of box was ld30,how do i fix this,or is it a dud box.

Why would you get 1 of them boxes??
You need a card from VM

box can not be modified,

The box and card need to be registered with VM so they will still charge you for multi room.. if your going down this road you would be better phoning them and have them install a new box.. or of course look at alternative methods
