What are the CV 500 boxes?

Hi,

I've heard there's a new box out (called CV 500) that you just hook up to your broadband & you recive all the channels etc.. similar to EV I'm thinking.. If anyone could fill me in on how they work, will they stay on if N3 hasn't been fully implemented. Also if I could see a picture of one of these boxes or a link to buy one would be Great!
