The only real option in Ireland is satellite and card-sharing, but be careful!!

Whatever you say, say nothing when you talk about you know what for if you know who might hear you, you know what youll get. Youll be sent off to you know where for you would not know how long. Maybe I could search through the threads so you dont have to ??

Uk is totally different than ireland its been running now in the Uk for the past 10mts on N3 there is just too much involved in setting up in ireland to many different things have to be taken into account but you never know maybe next year someone might dip there feet in the water to test again

I had the STV running for about 3 years and when N3 came in the whole thing went belly up. I'm living in Cork and anyone that I knew with any of those box's had to throw them out. I didn't hear of any new start up either, maybe in the new year someone might take pity on us poor oirish folk and lash out a new range of decoders.
Here's hoping!

The LAN cable boxes currently working in UK will work in EIRE but there is no server. STARVU
server was working in NTL areas but was shut down after about 4 months. If say 20 people got
together & bought Dream500c boxes they could set up a private share. It would cost each member
about 5 euro a month for full package

Cccam 2.14 should do the trick. I have no wish to set up a card/sharing server, but if I did I
would have a chat with Piopat about obtaining rsa & box keys. Have heard from people in Cork,
Belfast, & Scotland who are on cable servers using Dream500-c boxes. I am no expert, but as far
as I know there is no great science to obtaining rsa & boxkeys. How did all the people setting
satellite c/s obtain rsa & boxkeys. How did servers for Kryptvu,Stvu, & Ddigital obtain the
rsa & boxkeys for cable c/s

sat is a different kettle of fish to cable that is all i would say not as easy as you think you cant even read a UPC card as they are glitch proof

EAMO_TOO is absolutely correct. Not a whole lot of difference setting up a cable share to a sly sat share. As you know e45 sly cards are paired also with box. Have seen it going on in other places with no problems.

eamo, not true, why do you think that cable is such a restricted space. takes some hardware to crack rsa and boxkey on cable. why do you think e45 has open channels here. his buddies have spent the money. as such he gains the credit. and for that i have no issue. he supplies a service which he has made an effort to deliver. while i may not agree e45 is part of the equation

I take your point Fintanni, I never said it was easy to crack rsa & boxkey. All I said was it
has been done. I also recognise the time E45 puts into helping people. I don't care what his
reasons are once he is helping people who have problems with boxes.
