New house came with a sky box & dish.
Wondering can I set the dish up to get freeview? can I use the existing LNB, if so how. Have seen a few posts from folks on here who seem to do this as an alternative to placing a doggy box on N*L cable.
Already get a cetain amount of freeview thru the sky box without subscription, the majority of it is poo.
Wondering if there is a way to get premiership footbll etc from satalites other than sky.

Try the following thread and I think you will find a bit of info
on what to do next.
I am looking into it but again quite new so just a case of sussing out the best options.

You know the funny thing is that everyone is looking to satellite now, but all those with dreambox 500c in ireland can do exactly the same as what is done with 500s. So why bother changing box and installing a dish. It just takes a little knowledge and work.

I have looked into this a good bit but cant find any real info for Ire.

Would like to learn more on set up e.t.c

any direction to info would help as would prefer not to go down Sat route.

Sorry but I believe that chat like this is frowned upon on this forum, so I would google cccam, but the difficult bit from what I understand would be to getting a dreambox to read the new cards..
