That Firmware is for Starview 3 The Box Super, and not Starview 2 The Box, so it is now confirmed - do not try to put it on Starview 2 because if you succeed it will brick your box.
Thanks for the reply malci, that is what i suspected but needed confirmation. I must have put it on my box sometime ago when my head was in the stars, flashed so many boxes the last 12 months i can not remember when i done this one but it was months ago (this is one of my own). The box is working perfectly and has been for months, the only reason i noticed the firmware is when someone brought another SV2 round to get ESPN, when i scanned their box it picked ESPN up but not named, i remembered mine picked it up already named, thats when i noticed the firmware may have been SV3. (i must have done a box to box flash to get it on i guess). The above post is what i see on my system info on my SV2.
Anyway i guess i have been lucky, and thank you again for conformation malci, it is very much appreciated.
I vaguely remember a fix being released last year bearing something similar to 8.02 what you posted, (Not sure what it was to be honest but it was a bit of a mess with the Loader v4.03 but it was very soon discarded and replaced) with the 457, so I think that it could be that one, this is the fix that came out and currenly working fine >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
