Hi, I have been a DBOX2 user for 3 years now. It has served my 3 bedrooms really well. Whenever there has been a problem with the help of all of you I have manged to sort it out really quickly and easily.
Now I have come back to the forum after a year to ask, is what is new, is there a upgrade that I would like to do for example, is there a box for HD now? or maybe more.
read the nagra 3 thread, link in my sig, boxs are gone, no fixs for them, only box working is the SV6 in Ireland on cable lan, not working in the UK, So you looking at Sat
Thanks MICKAH for the info. quite shocked to read that all types of boxes will not be able to use what we have been able to use with cable prov iders.
So far all channels are working for me on all the 3 dboxes and knowing any minute they will dissapear is a bad feeling.
Did we not have a similar issue with the "nagrarom7" back in 2008? It took a month or 2 to get a fix, so as you have advised ppl should not throw away there boxes as I am sure this will be resovled.
But if it does not - I need to plan what to do next. I do have a sky dish but have no knowledge on what to do. Can someone provide me some info (few links) on what type of box should I get and how it works. Many Thanks
This is a different beast mate too the rom issue, this is a different encryption, look at the Dreambox thread by PIOPAT and do a search for Card Share on google since you have a Dish already, there is a theard on here call Shy channals on dreambox, use the search function above, worth reading
