A search didnt throw up anything for Ireland and none on fleabay which I thought was odd.
But nevermind I shall search on. The more I read about this box the better it gets.

A whole hearted thanx for all the help. My question was well and truely answered and I now know this is the box I'm after.

Aren't all DM's clones now as I thought the original manufacturer is no longer in business so basically all DM's are now in theory 'clones'!

Please, please, please use the search box at top right of site before asking a question that has already been answered.

jeepers mooley i don't think so. didn't dream recently launch the dm8000 and the dm500HD. you would be correct in saying that all dm500 machines are clones as this line was discontinued by dream multimedia some time ago.

Does anybody know what the difference is in the
DM 800-C
DM 800-S
DM 800-T

While having a look around I keep coming across it.
I thought it may be the tuner.

Yes, C for Cable, S for Satellite, T for Terrestrial

Whatever you say, say nothing when you talk about you know what for if you know who might hear you, you know what youll get. Youll be sent off to you know where for you would not know how long. Maybe I could search through the threads so you dont have to ??

A mate of mine has a few Dreambox 500's and said there 100%,he also has a Dreambox800HD and it keeps scrambling on him.would this be due to the box being faulty or the image service he is getting?I think he got both off the same supplier..

Also im new to this whole thing,im moving from digivox-T to sat and would like a bit of help getting set up please.
Im looking to get either a Dreambox500s or 800HD.any advice on where to get at best prices and where to get the best IMAGES if thats what i also need by PM would be great!!

Thanks

all such information is available on current threads. there is no reason for a dm800hd to be behaving poorly unless the image and/or settings are not set to optimum

well if you even read this thread for starters you would find the supplier you require. as for the other issue, this is likely a tv provider that is overloaded and as such responses are too slow to update system in time

Thanks for the reply,
Yes i seen the supplier for the DM800HD for around £190.(great price by the way),but the reason i was asking for a PM was that i wasnt sure if i could ask for the best places to get clines here??

Hi Fellas,
Long time reader and some time poster. I have a kryptview A750. It worked like a dream for a good year, needless to say, the obvious happened. The area I am in now has MMDS and no cable. Is getting the I P connector my only option with a sat dish, if only to get FTA channels. Any advice, help or info appreciated.Mocking also an option :)

Hi Dave, thanks for responding. Firstly I cocked up its not MMDS, its a dish from sky. Its a sky system in place, dish, decoder, necessary cables just no cards or subscription. You'll have to excuse my lack of tech know how in this area.

If you have an old sly box you can use that as a freeview box and if everything is in place dish, wires etc, you can also look at the dreambox.
