Hello, I am new here, so I just want to thank everyone in advance. I have had 1 click dvd copy 5 for awhile now, but I just changed my antivirus software to Avira Antivir Personal edition. When booting up the computer Avira finds a Trojan: TR/PSW.Dybalom.adt in 1clickdvdcopy 5.exe. Has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone think this is a false positive, if so, any suggestions?

Thanks.

I checked the set-up file and scanned it with AntiVir - nothing suspicious.
I then uploaded the same file for an independent scan and still nothing.

@cyprusrom

That's a relief;I had just enough time to cancel the auto-destruct sequence.

Have you heard the one about the Canadian Borg?

)), no I lost track of the Borg situation when Picard was taken over...
When is the total assimilation predicted to complete?

No rush, Tom Cruise will be making the announcement sometime after Madonna's vow of celibacy kicks in.

Ah, first Jenna, and now Madonna? I knew Jenna Jameson was a bad influence...now Madonna is gonna follow suit-the world is all going down hill...Will be better off once the assimilation's done.
Tom Cruise seems appropriate, he's got trinkets in his head already, the process will run much smother for him...

You'll note that Mel Gibson (probably due to his brain matter being replaced by Vegemite during his Australian years) is now running amok in Central America.

This has potential for Feedback Forum.

I have a legit program. I uploaded my copy also to virustotal.com and they found nothing. Malwarebytes and spybot find nothing. Any other suggestions?

1. Avira Antivir Personal sucks(false positive). You can try another online file scanner for peace of mind:

http://www.kaspersky.com/scanforvirus

or
http://housecall.trendmicro.com/
http://www.bitdefender.com/scanner/online/free.html

2. You have a nuked copy of the software(might have some malware and all the other software cannot detect it). In this case, get rid of it. Mind me asking, what do you use the program for? It doesn't seem to deal with newest encrypted DVDs,in which case using the free DVDFab would be more than common sense.

Yes, I have used DVD Fab and like it. I like to keep my options open. My copy of 1 clickDVD Copy 5 was purchased legally and does pretty well. I have never had problems with it before. Anyway I am going to take your advise on this being a false positive. Thanks for the help. :)

I just wanted to update this problem. I emailed the file to Avira Antivir Personal antivirus and they returned my email with this comment:
......................................................................

1ClickDvdCopy.exe 1.36 MB FALSE POSITIVE

Please find a detailed report concerning each individual sample below:

Filename Result
1ClickDvdCopy.exe FALSE POSITIVE

The file '1ClickDvdCopy.exe' has been determined to be 'FALSE POSITIVE'. In particular this means that this file is not malicious but a false alarm. Detection will be removed from our virus definition file (VDF) with one of the next updates.

......................................................................

So thank you everyone for your helpful suggestions. Its good to know I am in the clear. :)
