ConvertXtoDVD Pixelated DVD conversions...

I've used ConvertXtoDVD 4 a lot because it is so easy to use. I've always wondered if there was anyway to correct the pixelated dark areas in the converted video when burning HD video and .mkv files. I've noticed this happens almost everytime I convert, especially when I convert 720p and 1080p video files. I've included some examples:






This is most noticeable during dark spots in the converted video. These videos do not look like this when I play the original file on my computer before the conversion. Could someone please tell me how to correct the pixelated blocks? Any help is appreciated.
