Hi guys , Ive just bought a new pc that has a WIN TV DVB-T card (thats what it says on'my computer' settings) installed. Is this known as a PCI card ?

I understand I can plug an aerial into it to receive TV pictures, but can I somehow hook my VHS video recorder to it , to copy old VHS tapes to my pc ?

If so , what cable do I need ?

Device Manager should have some information about the card if it's plugged into the motherboard.
This one (not the same card you are referring to) is a PCI card.





You should be able to look at the card to see if it has an analogue input (sVideo or composite connectors) I would expect it to have an input for a stereo mini-plug as well.
If your not sure, Google the description in Device Manager.

I have borrowed my mates video camera which allows for analogue in / digital output , and am capturing it happily to my pc .
