I have a number of VHSC cassettes and they play very well on my TV from the JVC 75 video camera.
My old ITEX capture card is not compatible with windows 7.I could swap it to an older XP system but I never had a lot of luck with this card. One gripe was the very high mega byte requirement for a "so-so" recording.
So I tried to film a video from the tv screen with my digital cam.The results were very good. But then if people are doing "cam" recordings of movie releases (and some are really quite good quality} why shouldn't this option work.Obviously you can tweak the tv picture settings and the digi cam setings to get optimum results.
I just wondered if someone had tried this and had any recommendations.
One of my interests was bringing marine life specimens home to film in my "native marine aquarium".In my case, native marine was in Eilat on the coral reefs. I got some very good examples of unusual specimens that even a diver would have to hunt for never mind trying to film them in situ.I eventually "fell foul" of the "Nature conservancy authority" for removing marine life.So I converted all my aquariums to freshwater and started developing a new concept of vacuum enhanced aquariums.
