Well, I know this question is very difficult, but if it weren't, I wouldn't ask it, isn't it?

I have an .AVI movie, and when I transform the .AVI into .MPG with TMPGenc, the sound goes slightly out-of-sync (even if the .AVI was correctly in-sync!).

If I try to extract the WAV with Virtualdub to process in and to re-join it into the movie video to create a correct MPG:

1) if I choose in Virtualdub Audio__Direct Stream Copy, and then File--->Save WAV, the final .MP2 (WAV converted by BeSweet) cannot be Multiplexed by TMPGenc because it's an 'illegal MPEG audiostream'

2) if I choose in Virtualdub Audio__Full Processing Mode, and then File--->Save WAVm the resulting WAV, after I convert it to MP2 with BeSweet, can be multiplexed with the video, but it seems the risult doesn't change: the final .MP2 (WAV converted by BeSweet) cannot be Multiplexed by TMPGenc because it's an 'illegal MPEG audiostream'. More, I can load it as Audio Input with TMPGenc (and the risult is as for a converted AVI) and, to have a different sound input for TMPGenc, I cannot edit manually the WAV with EAC because 'The selected WAV is no standard WAV! EAC processes only uncompressed 44.1 kHz stereo WAV!".
What can I do?

Well, since the problem is mine, I found sorta solution by myself. But I don't know the thet bizarre AVI was built. Extracting the audio file (WAV) wih Virtualdub (Audio__Full Processing Mode) by the TMPGenc output, the WAV can be loaded by EAC (and, maybe, multiplexed to the video). Now I have to edit the WAV inserting silence when the audio is different ftom the subtitle which I have and who was equal for the bizarre AVI) and delete sound when there's someting more. I hope in a few days the final WAV will coincide 99% with the subtitle (and therefore with the real movie) and I'll be able to multiplex it with the vido part of the .MPG file I created with TMPGEnc (moltiplexing doing WAV-->MP2 with BeSweet plus TMPGenc's MPEG Tools ---> Simple Mulltiplex) to create a 'perfect' MPEG.
