I have a couple of CD+G karaoke cd's. My dvd player doesn't support CD+G but it will play VCD's so I was wondering is anyone knows of a way that I can convert or capture the audio and video from the CD+G and make a VCD out of it.

I never tested it, but you might try: http://www.powerkaraoke.com/src/prod_powercdg2mpg.php . Good luck!

Incase anyone is interested in this type of this. I found a cite that allows you to convert the cdg into mpg with TMPGEnc.

Heres the link.

I don't know what happened. I works fine for me but the files are very basic just a song and the words appearing without any fun background or anythings.

I hope the program I suggested (powerkaraoke) works well, even if I know the unregistered version shows an extra logo.

It worked ok. Some of the features would of been nice to use but I didn't want to pay for it. Especially when I can get what I want done with software I already have.

The plugin on the link above is a good one to use. It works well and you don't have the logo running through it.

aldaco12,
Did you use wincd or whatever it is called. I tried that one first to capture the cg+g because when I used that the files had a buzzing sound in the backgroud. After that I tried audiograbber. It created files that worked a lot better.
