hi guys, i was just having some problems with authoring a dvd and stumbled upon this site. i got a tv series in avi(xvid) format and im trying to get it onto dvd. i used tmpgenc to convert it to mpeg-2 format. the problem is i want some sort of a tool that can burn the mpeg-2 files on the fly without having to write about 4 gigs worth data to the hard drive first. i used tmpg dvd author but its very time consuming as it takes one turn to write dvd files to hard drive and then another 20 mins to burn it. and nero just re-transcodes (i think it really re-encodes) reducing quality. if i remember right old nero version like 5.xxx used to just do the damn job if it didn't have the dvd plugin. but can't seem to find it anymore. i would really appriciate if someone could help. thanks.
