I am trying to join two AVI's into one file so I can convert the large file to DVD format. I have used Easy Video Joiner (which won't join the file at all), TMPGenc and NanDub both leave a loud noise at the joining point and then the audio of the second AVI drops off for a few seconds. Both AVI's are the same bitrate, same audio format, same frame rate, etc. Any ideas on what the problem could be?

Thanks a lot

Maybe the video wasn't cut at exactly a certain frame. It was cut approximately.
