Hey, i want to convert .avi to dvd.
I tried tmpeg i think its called.
It seemed it would fit 1 episode per 4.7 gig of the dvd.

I used another program, which converted 3 mins as it was a trial, but im glad it did as the quality and audio sucked.

So, i need a way of converting .avi to dvd.
Each .avi is approx 350 MB, 40 mins long.
And i want to fit as much as possible onto a cd of a total of 27 eps. So i know ill be needing a few dvd blanks.

What do you suggest? The guide here seem'd it would make the file size 4 gigs.. on the last step of tmpeg.

You must use http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/convert_avi_to_dvd.cfm, probably merging the AVIs a explained in http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/multiple_svcd_on_dvdr.cfm (MPEG-VCR or TMPGenc).
Sorry, I never used it, I don't know if it can be applied to DVD movies, but unless the AVI are gorgeus, multiple SVCD movies is enough....

Try a program called winAVI. I used TMPGEnc all the time until I discovered this program.
