I posted a thread about this some time ago... no one responded.. so!, lemme type this vveeeeryy sloowwwly.. ANYONEEEEEE GOOOOT UUU SSS BBB EXTREME? hows the game performance? hope not terrible cause i ordered one and if so i'm screwed.. i recently chatted with a "modchipstore.com" representative and he said the performance should be pretty good cause standard USB ports are 2.0 nowadays.. i asked him bout tha PS2 slim line USB ports and he said they were 2.0. now..i hope he wasn't lie'n to me, and i also hope the games data tranferration is equivalent to the PS2's disc read speed at least.

Hey listen, i'm nothing, and you're nothing, so lets just keep it like that, k?

it blows. compatability sucks so far and load times are horrible. it would be faster for me to design, code and sell a new game to $ony than it would take for me to wait for a game to load.

Does PS1 games work on USB Extreme? And does anybody have experience with using USB Extreme on a partitioned hard drive and/or non-PS2 files in the same directory? I have a program that allows me to save my game data to a USB drive so I am hoping I can save my data and the games themselves to one drive.

just so you guys know i am using an old school ps2. ive also tried several usb HD's. the bottleneck happens at the usb port so as long as you are using a non prehistoric hd the software will be what slows you down.
