whacker it will work. All he has to do is replace the usb controller chip that supports usb2.0. then if that dont work primitive has to have a go at the ps2 bios or if he has a modchip, hack the modchips bios to support the chip.

Ive been waiting for my usbextreme for 4 days..it was supposed to be overnight express. useless..... anyway im loading ll my games on now. i will let you know my success rates(hopefully high 80%)

where do you get cdvdgen? there should be a games compatability list at www.usbextreme.com. at least that should have games they think are compatible. seems only 2 out of 10 are.

I suggest an XCM HD Connect (with appropriate m0dchip) or HDcombo.com. Both will give you "internal", native HDD support like the fat PS2's. No more messing around with compatibility and super sloooooooooooww USB 1.1 loading times.
