For Xmas, I was going to mod my brothers PS2 with a DMS4 EZI Pro. I just recentally looked at it and figured out the version, Unfortantually it is a version 4. Unfortantually the EZI will only work with versions 5+. So im guessing this means the only modchips that will work are solder ones only.

My question is, What is the easiest mod chip to install? With the least ammount of soldering? I'm guessing they will all pretty much do the same things.

What is your guys' recomendation.

I'd say the duo2se has the least number of wires to solder but, it also has less features than the dms4 or matrix infinity. If all you wanna do is play backup games then the suo2se would be enough.

NTSC DNAS threads.

have you tried the site afterdawn adverts? I don't know of many sites that sell mods. Only thing I can think of, off tht top of my head is modchip.ca but that's a canadian site and I don't even know if they have duo.

i agree with 3dluis
bought a premodded system at Xmodd a while back, so i know you can trust them. Teammodders are great guys who can mod it for you, but they do not sell chips. I bought my premodded Xbox from them and it was great. Also had them install a chip in my old V5 and a new laser.
No problems there either.

Also i have heard good things about gocybershopping.com

If you are not quite good at soldering i would not attempt this job.
I know you want to mod one, but when it comes to soldering on the motherboard it takes a good deal of skill. If you pay shipping i think Teammodders charges like $35 for an install.
