ps2 online help I have some questions

I am a Newbee,
Thank you in advance and for allowing me here, and I hope the question is in the right section?
I Own a ps2 Massiah2 runs perfect. cablevision, and a modem, router and the ps2 on port 3 of4.
1 loaded ps2 network sftwr up, perfect on the 1st try. need to test a game.
2. I load up socom navy seals2, and ea need for speed and burnout
ea says I need an account? I understand there may be sites you need to pay?
3. navy seals gets me online make a profile and agree to terms. I get to the connection register name and then get
" I have cheated 96 times" booted off. i load up 97 time etc?
I have not yet gotten on. I need some steps on how to get on
I read I need to turn off the chip? if thats the case, how?
any advice is greatly appriciated
I would love to play some need for speed and burn out , racing games online
and hope I can get directed to a site that shows me a list a of people and free sites thanks guys and gurls not a youngster so bear with me.....................

Ok Well, I'm a newbie also.....In a way lol
but anyways, if your copy of navy is a back up it'll be pretty hard to play if you tunr off your chip if it isn't then Messiah 2 must have a way to shut the chip off. Since I read that playing online with chip on cannot work or something..
To turn off your chip I'm pretty sure the official site of messiah will tell you....But since many people probably have the messiah chip they can probably give you more info..

I went to ea nation andgot an account very hard to figure out the pages thee Lol finally made a profile name
I am trying burnou, but I also get the errors . so it is the chipI bet. I need to know how to turn it off and get pass the delema thanxfor the quick reponse

Well, liek I said if your game is a back up I think it's pretty much moot to try since if you turn off your chip, it'l be hard to play any back up at all online, since you can boot a backed up game without the chip, and then if your chip is turned on then I dont know what you can do, but I heard there exists ghost mode for certain chips not sure if messiah has it, I beleive that it can boot back up and let your play online without them knowing or something.

update , i believe my supplier left out the info on some disks? I got burnout 3 to play online and I know iam happy it works. it is a matter of emailing the person andasking the next time

I've heard its impossible to play SOCOM Games online with out the original copy

I am totally new but so far I got 1 game to play not a waste of money Burnout 3 is fine but revenge no socoms 1 and 2 nope, and need for speed 2,undergroud nope

well I have no need to be online. Ireturned my network with the wireless i got. I do have a usb hub and thought I can get itto work nope. I rather be offline on gaming then try to wait forever connectiong.

Ok.. the reason you are being booted, is because you need to patch the "DNAS ID" which is the logo which appears when an online game is connecting.
DNAS ID data is not copied along to a PC or other DVD when making a backup or downloading. It has to be injected.
First, you must determine wether the game is PAL or NTSC.
For PAL DNAS IDs

Notice how the DNAS will be displayed, but with four XXXX's in the front. You have to replace these X's with any number/letter from A-F and 0-9
And yes, apparently it is difficult to get away with playing SOCOM online, even if it's DNAS is patched.
