I just found out that my ps2 is SCPH5000x, and from the dvd? version is v3.02, so basically this means my ps2 is v10?

The problem is, i'm trying to change my machine id, since i can't get online (error 833, region error)...

And from what i've heard, paradox maid-changer (machine id = maid) can't change the id of v9/v10, is there a way for me to change my machine id?

Thanks in advance...

P.S. : i just want to go online >.<,
otherwise, i've just bought 40$ network adapter for naught >.<,
any help would be appreciated ^^

The answer is no, you cannot change the machine id.

the region of the game i'm trying to get online is "SLUS", does this mean it's NTSC or PAL?

so to play this game i basically have to purchase a new ps2?
but from which region to match the game's region "SLUS" ??
