I just noticed that my recent batch of systems have been a new version of the V14, a GH-040-51 motherboard. New layout and I can't get my H2O Orange chip to work with this one because I don't have any schematics.

Anyone have schematics for this new motherboard with the H2O Orange chip? BTW, this chip rocks and does awesome for my other boards including the other V14 and below system models. But since this new model is so new, I'm wondering if anyone has their own schematics or found them somewhere I couldn't. I found schematics for the Matrix Infinity but not for my H2O Orange yet. I would appreciate any help, thanks everyone.

Here is a link for the Matrix schematics so you know what I'm talking about for the GH-040-51 board.

if you compare the older version v14 (gh-037-01) you'll see that the matrix and chipmod locations are almost identical. the only exceptions being that the chipmod doesn't have wire "Y" and the matrix doesn't have wire "Z". the locations for these two wires are different as well. one other difference is the location of the 5v and tne gnd wires. Hope this helps you. I am stuck on the wire "Z" as well and would like a diagram for this board myself, but this should help you out significantly. When using the diagram you have posted, most of the wires are there already, except "Z", 5v and gnd. they have different locations.

I'm waiting to hear back from my distributor of the H2O Orange to find the proper locations for the Z, 5V and Ground as well. Once I get confirmation and can test this all out I will post up my findings for you. I'm sure people will have this same question too was just hoping someone had done some trial and error and figured out where these last 3 points should go.

Thanks again!

I've also put up a help ticket with my supplier as well. but at least with a little research, most of the locations have been discovered. as for the 5v and gnd, if you look on the gh-037-01 diagram, you'll also find the same part in a similar location but rotated 90 degrees on the board, I am 90% sure it is the same place to solder to. As soon as you hear from your supplier, post the results. I'd love to find out what's needed to complete this as I have already begun to copy games. And I'll be sure to post any results I recieve as soon as I get them.

Cheers,
Willy
