I want to buy Breaker Pro because I want to play PS2 backups (since I can't seem to find Action Replay 2 or Gameshark 2 anywhere other than ebay) and I was wondering if you use it with PNP Key aka Stealth 4 for v7 PS2's (a solderless modchip). I want to change from swapping because I heard that manually opening something that you shouldn't (a cd tray in this case) can lead to damage, and because there is no cover on the PS2 tray, dust can easily get in.

I would get a fliptop instead of the pnp key. Also, breaker pro is for ps1 backups and ps2 cd based games (and you might still need swap magic to use it). Swap magic is what you really need because most games are on dvd.

I don't want to get a fliptop because I don't want to take apart that much of my PS2 (and I also want to get a vinyl for my PS2 that won't look too good cut up). I know that Breaker Pro plays PS1 games, I was asking if PNP Key would work with it since in the directions it only shows you how to use it with AR2/GS2 or Swap Magic. I want PNP Key also because I don't have enough space to open up the fliptop (its in a TV cabinet and it has only about an inch of space above the PS2 and I have no other place to put it).

Can somebody tell me if this has worked or if not then why? I don't want to waste $38 together jsut to end up slide-carding again.

I personally think that the slide card is safer than the pnp key.

I heard that the slide card is not good for the PS2 for long usage (do you really think that manually opening a disc tray can be good?). And by the way, its just the fact that you have to hold the eject tray button for a couple seconds more to make the PNP key work makes it appealing, and that you don't have to solder anything (you just unconnect and reconnect 2 ribbon cables).

I don't want any more comments/suggestions/thoughts, I jsut want the answer to my question to which I've wanted to know for a couple of days now (I really want ot buy it).
