Hi,
just wanted to give everyone a 'heads up' that I got Snes Station working on my PS2 without having to burn it using Nero. Here's what I did (after having Snes Station emulator and game ROMs):
Use Nero 5.x (stupid thing won't burn) to create an .nrg file of my Emulator and ROMs. The emulator has to be the main file, and the ROMs should be put into a sub folder. The emulator file will break down into a few smaller files (search on this website to find the Snes Station / PGen guides to see how to break down the files and recollect them).
After creating an .NRG file of your Em and ROMs, just open ImgBurn (or DVD Decrypter - I think it's pretty much the same thing, if not, I suggest using ImgBurn). Make Sure the type of Disc you're using is a CD (NOT RW) type (Not DVD, I wasted 17 (yes, seventeen) DVD+R's and CD-RW's together trying to figure out how to burn this little program without having to buy Nero 6.
Anyway, I used a CD-R. Open the .NRG file using ImgBurn, and click on the little Write icon thingo. ImgBurn will show it's writing an .NRG file to the disc, whether or not it makes it an .ISO is beyond me, but it sure works, so I don't care.
Anyway, just thought this might be a helpful tip for someone who doesn't have Nero, and is interested in playing the Snes roms on PS2.
Haven't tried it with PGen or any other emulators yet (only Snes Station).
One small problem that I've encountered is, I don't think there's any sound. In the opening disclaimer from Snes Station, music is playing, and all's well. But when I played F-Zero, there was no sound at all. Title screen, gameplay, nothing. But, that's the only rom I've tried out, could just be that one rom.
Who knows.
Anyway...
Peace!
