im trying to hook my playstation up online. it says the connection is fine but then i get an error...it says Network Error -612 there was no response from the DNS server Please check your network configuration...can any1 help me plz? i made a new network config. thing already and that didnt work...i dont know what to do...some1 help plz

what game are you trying to play..if it is an old sports game like nba live 2003 then you cant play online anymore since they servers get shut down and there are servers for the newer versions..thats all i can think of..when i had this problem i called the company and asked for their assistance.you can find this on the back of the game box

have you tried to reset ur modem?i had same problem i have road runner. i just powered my dsl modem off bout 30 sec and turned back on and worked fine.
