So games like Socom II require each player on the LAN connection to have their own console, ethneret cable, network adaptor,...etc.

What games will you be able to play on a LAN with a multitap? So therefor, what games would only two consoles be nessary for, so each person wouldn't need their own PS2 console.

So there could be like 4v4 on just two TV's?

As far as i know, there are no games that allow the use of the multitap while in an online or lan game.

I play timesplitters 3: future perfect via lan and it's the best. Everyone gets their own tv instead of a split screen.

You can do that w/ Star Wars Battlefront 2, Played w/ 2 of my friends on 1 TV and 2 of my other friends on the other TV VS. each other. Plus there is 32 AI on each side so 68 Players total but on 4 humans LOL
