I was just about to purchase the new ps2 slim for my nephew, but when i did a search on its average durability i found some rather disturbing news.It gets frequent DRE's,it overheats and the overall lifespan is just 3-6 months.Are those statements true or are they just rumours?If i do buy it,is a DMS4 lite modchip the best choice of modification for it?Your opinion is of the utmost value to me.
