Alright, I've searched and searched these forums to no avail. Well, my PS2's network adapter has worked flawlessly for the past 2 years. Now, whenever I load a PS2 game with online capabilities (both backups and originals), the screen stays black for about 3-4 minutes (possibly searching for the network adapter?) then finally loads the game.

When I try to go online with an original, it says "Netork adapter not found" or something like that.

Is it possible that the installation of my new fliptop caused this? I had to readjust the screws of my system a lot to get the fliptop to work, thus I had to attach and reattach the network adapter a lot. However, I checked both the connectors on the back of PS2 and on the network adapter itself, and they both seem fine to me.

I tried loading an online capable game without the network adapter attached, and it works, but I really want to fix this problem so I can get online again.

Any idea on how to solve this problem? Thanks in advance.
