HELP! PS2 Standby/Reset Light Flashing

Hi,
When I play my PS2 for about 30 minutes, the standby/reset light starts flashing a red light and the PS2 turns off. I let it rest, and the next time I play it, it works for 30 minutes and the same thing happens. What could be the cause of this? I installed a flip top case for my PS2 almost a year ago, and the problem has been occuring recently, so I don't think it's related to the flip top case.

It sounds like your PS2 is overheating. Is the fan on the back working?

Yar, I'll put $10 on the fan not spinning. That's about how long it takes for it to shut off....

You're right, somehow the fan stopped working. I'm not sure if it got disconnected, or it broke, but I'm going to check it out. Where can I get a new fan, if it is broken?
