this may sound newb my question but w/e...
im using swap magic 3.3 and i start my PS2 up with it in the PS2 and everything works, but when i try and change the disc to boot up a back up, it says the disc is not a vaild PS2 disc, can anyone help?

maybe its the media type
i believe if its cd, it has to be cd-r not cd+r, i'm not sure about that.
but its probably because you're not burning right.
what are you burning, images?

im pretty sure i burnt an immage, cause i was tryin to do the MC exploit, but it would say the disc was not a valid PS2 disc

First of all,
is it me or I never heard of cd+r lol
and second the problem is either the media(nice quality or crap)
OR It's the burning speed you burnt it to fast.

anyways did you make the iso yourself?

Just a thought you are trying to boot CD's, are you sure you are using the CD boot disk and not the DVD boot disk?

problem is with any DVD or CD, ill burn a DVD PS2 game, use swap magic but it says its not valid

dude, so you just say plastic things.
of course you need that.
i'm guessing its a slide card. i cant help you if you dont tell me how you're expecting to play backups
you need either flippy or slide card.
