The 2005 Game of the Year for PS2 goes to.......................................

SHADOW OF THE COLOSSUS.
sony computer entertainment.

WHY: Shadow of the colossus takes games and changes the direction they are heading. From its beautiful use of boss design down to the very last tear you will shed at probably the best ending seen in a videogame and not forgetting the musical masterpiece, SOTC will leave you entranced and mentally distorted. A complete and utter masterpiece one of the greatest titles ever created.

well everyone has their own preference for games, in my opinoin i have to go with god of war as game of the gear, the game play is great, making new combos every time i fight and the boss fights are great.

xbox 360 premium edtion with vga/hd hook up to my dell 20.1 inch widescreen lcd.

White and black 1.5 psp's

I'll take this down WHEN micro$oft decides to stop being lazy and make the capcom fighting games backwards compatible with the 360 dammit!!!

My vote is for God of War. This coming from someone who's an RPG fanatic (currently playing Magna Carta & Dragon Quest VIII). Resident Evil 4 is also very good, very scary/lots of action/good movies. God of War though, is more cinematic.

Wow i agree Shadow of the Colossus is bad ass althought short. God of War was sick as hell too. I cant decide between the two lets just say those two games were the best this year.

Yea steimy your right timesplitters 3: future perfect has to be the most underrated game of 2005. That was my pick for the best game. I play that game for hours non stop. That should've been the game of the year.

Who ever allowed the 50 cent game to be considered best of the year either got paid hella to do so or is on crack. That game is the gayest shooting game ever. The only thing tight is all the music(seriously like all of g unit music is on the game) and videos. Without those the game would be retarded and pointless. G G G G git G Unit.

Since I can't say Kingdom Hearts because its too old, and the new one was only released in Japan, I'd have to go with Resident Evil 4.

I think Madden NFL 06 should have been the game of the year or at least the most addictive game of the year.
