HD loader hangs

I've read that some people have the same problem, but I never find any solution.
I tried 4 different hard disks (seagate and maxtor, 80 to 200G).
Hd loader or hd advance starts well and find the hard disk, so it asks to format it. The format process never ends! i've been waiting more than 3 hours!
So i used Winhiip, and it's formatting well, the disk is seen as a ps2 disk and everything.
But back in my ps2, hdloader or hd advance hang at the splash screen and nothing's happening.
Plz help! i start to get crazy!

It's not possible, I'm not the only one in the world with that F****** problem!!

I tried another version of hd loader and it works!
almost...
When I try to copy a game, I have a message "fatal error occured" :/
At least it's a step ahead :D
