hi people, it's been sometime since i haven't posted anything in the forum and i missed you guys and da good ol' ps2 forum. i have found out something weird with my ps2, i just wanted to post it in the forum so if somsone else noticed it with their ps2. i have all three prince of persia games for ps2, and from warrior within and two thrones i noticed that it has some what stuttering in the frame rate. it's not FLUID LIKE SMOOTH to put it in propper english. is it common to all ps2 users? because my friends says it is fluid like smooth on ps2.... thats not all, i came across a problem that my ps2 gets stuck while playing movies of prince of persia, two thrones + Warrior within then jumps to the in game after a while, both dvd's works and plays perfectly on the shops ps2. i have a pal ps2 with messiah 2 mod as far as i know,

what was doubting me is, if there is any problem with pal , ntsc stuff and my tv set ( which is pretty old ) can these sort of stuttering problems occur? all da other games works fine, including Resident evil 4. :(,

Copy the games at lower speeds, like 4x and burn to media like verbatim or yuden.

Ermmm but my backups are not burned, they are pressed DVD's. :-? thats what i was wondering. they are not burned copies of the original. they are pressed dvd's, which is silver (goldish sort of)

IC, i though they were backups, well if there originals and they work on another ps2, then its your PS2 that has a problem, maybe the laser needs cleaning.

but the rest of the other games work. i guess it's some flickering in the game that i see as slow down stuff. i should try it on a different ps2. thanks a lot :)

Hey guys I have a problem, I've tried playing a burned copy Prince of Persia the Two Thrones on my ps2 but when for some reason, the game plays in black and white. Swap Magic 3.6 boots the game up fine and the game plays well but it doesn't play in color. The game is a PAL version and it's burned on a TDK DVD+R. Anyone have any ideas why?
