Need v7 flip top help. How do you take out the power button?

I have been looking at instructions on how to install the flip top on a version 7 PS2 and multiple instructions say to just take out the power switch. How do you do it? There aren't any screws holding it down that I can see but I don't want to try to rip it out and break it.

Help?

just put a small screwdrive under it and pop it out, it's held in by friction.
