Do you have some sort of modification for your ps2, like swap magic or a mod chip?

What DVD's are you using +r/-r? what make?
In order for PS2 backups to work you have to copy them to good quality dvd's like Taiyo Yuden, Verbatim TDK and there are a few more good brands, you should burn them at 4x, and for some maybe 2x, and they should work fine, leave a few details in your next post, saying what dvd's ur using wat speed ur burning them at and what chip you have in your ps2

Well, ask yer mates dad wat brand chip he put in, make sure you use .iso read > .iso write modes in decrypter, and stop using the RW's, cause unless you have a proper modchip like DMS 4 Pro or Matrix Infinity, RW's won't work. Some more info on what type of ps2 you have might also be handy...

How do you know the chip is working, when you load a original game under the normal playstation 2 thing that comes up does it say something like infinity X.X or something similiar, if its a matrix infinity try to accesss the chips main menu and check to see if the macrovision protection is turned off. When you say nothing happed when you insert the disk, are you saying that it goes to the red screen and says please insert a valid ps2 or ps1 disk, or does it just do nothing, and sits there?

could just be your media.
RW discs do not work well. And off brnads like Packard Bell may also give you problems.
Taiyo Yuden, Ritek, Philips, Verbatim, TDK
DVD-R 8X

Matrix Infinity makes good chips

make sure you have the latest flash for that chip.
http://www.infinitymod.com/cgi-bin/matrix/site.pl?page=mx4_software
It says it is V1.10 so if your screen shows 1.1 then you may be up to date.

Jus a few ideas.
