I don't if this is the place to ask, but I don't feel like subscribing to another forum. Here's my problem: I have my computer downstairs connected straight to my modem which is straight to the cable. My slim PS2 is upstairs in the room above the computer. I want to be able to go on PS2 online. What do I need to accomplish this?

a few options

1)a router and a very long ethernet cable
2)a second network adapter on the pc and a very long crossover cable 3)a wireless network and a wireless gaming adapter.

1 is easy and relatively cheap.
2 is cheapest but needs configuration for the second nic to use ICS.
3 is most expensive but also easy.

NTSC DNAS threads.

I thnak you for your help. While saving up my money for this the stuff (I decided to go with the wireless approach), I was researching and read somewhere that if I were to get a wireless router, I would need a wireless card for my desktop.

If my router is positioned next to my desktop, can I just connect it directly or do I need the wireless card?
